Carli's Role at Bay Alarm Medical
As Social Media Manager, my goal is to help BAM empower caregivers across the nation by providing and sharing accurate, up-to-date caregiving tips, resources, and information with the public.
What has the Medical Alert Industry Taught You?
The Medical Alert Industry has taught me the importance of prioritizing family and being prepared for emergencies. Family always comes first. Caring for aging loved ones brings up a lot of emotions and sometimes we want to avoid those “ugly,” hard conversations, but it’s important to have them now before an emergency happens.
Carli's Advice For Customers
My advice for customers is to shop around and to really figure out if you’re dealing with good people or not (look at reviews and for customer service especially). Companies may have similar equipment and some might have cheaper prices than others, but for me I’d want to be sure that my family member was in good hands. That whoever answers the phone is kind to me and to them. I’ve been guilty in the past of rushing through and picking the first available product to my detriment, so definitely take your time and do your research when you are selecting a medical alert system for a loved one.
Carli's Favorite Things
My favorite things are pairing snacks with a TV show or movie, cooking, catching up with friends, nature walks, rollerskating, dancing, reading, trying out new restaurants, and posting and scrolling social media platforms (Instagram and Threads).
